The Strength of Elizabeth Edwards

With the announcment today that Elizabeth Edwards Cancer has returned, her battle continues. Mrs. Edwards ws diagnosed with breast cancer in 1994, during her husbands campaign for Vice President. She held the information in until the elction, fearing her husband had enough on his plate. This is Elizabeth Edwards, carring so much about changing the world, she would suffer alone rather than risk hurting the election. Through surgrey and treatments, her cancer went back into remission, and the Edwards family began to piece their lives together again.

Today, We heard that their life is turned upside down again. Mrs. Edwards has cancer of the rib bones, which is actually ok news, seing as it is contained and treatable. However, it is not cureable, she will always have it, and need to manage and treat it. With this on her an John's minds, they will not skip a beat, instead continuing to campaign for the Presidency. Elizabeth feels strongly that they can help the nation, the people and the world through an Edwards Presidency. She wants to keep the message out there, and she will do it herself as well.

For Elizabeth, John, Cate, Emma and Jack, The prayers of many are with you, and our hope is for strength, peace and health. May Elizabeth carry on in her fight for what is right, and for all of those who need to be fought for.
